Christians: God created the earth in 3 days but created the stars in just 1 day. How is that possible?

God took 3 whole days to create the earth and just 1 day to create the billions of galaxies each containing trillions of planets, suns and moons... Doesn't this story sound like it was written by primitive beings with little knowledge about the universe? How can you possibly defend this bible?
