Is there any reason why we shouldn't be shown video or photographic evidence of Osama Bin Laden's death?

Assuming Osama was in fact killed recently what would be the reasons not to show this evidence? Would there be a bigger potential for retaliation? What do you think would be the main reasons not to show it?
