It's a multiple exposure, 5 of them. Basically, a single frame is exposed multiple times during which it is not advanced. The camera needs to have this function, the setting of which varies from camera to camera. On my Nikon FE-2, it's a lever under film advance crank that prevents the frame from advancing but allows the crank to operate and re-cock the shutter on each exposure. The exposures themselves will have to be properly calculated from the initial metered value. Essentially, you will be dividing the overall exposure by the number of frames taken- each exposure added together equals the metered exposure. Math sucks. But when executed properly, it's a pretty cool technique.

Why is he so inconsiderate?

i have been with my boyfriend for 6 years now! he is 26 and i am 22, i just wanna say first he does have a very pure heart but i just wish he would show it more. He is very stubborn and quite a closed off person and not a great communicator at all, things have been very unstable for a while now, whenever we seem to have a tiny disagreement or argument he seems to be very inconsiderate if he has hurt my geelings in any way. For example even if i cry in front of him because he is being inconsiderate about something he wont comfort me and hold me or do anything. Instead he puts himself first and defends every single thing i say, and this is happened near enough our whole relationship, i do admit that i sometimes might over-react or get over-emotional but thats only because he provokes it and im just sick to death of the way he treats me and im sick of feeling trapped as i love him so much but at the same time i know i deserve better then this and find it so hard to leave him because i would love things to work out but...He just wont take any responsibility for his actions, instead i have to end up trying to be the bigger person and apologising for his mistakes just because i dont want the argument to linger on for days, because normally he will ignore me or wont contact me for a good few days, and this is just so hard on me, and very selfish on his part. I have tried talking to him about the way he acts towards me but he said its just who he is and that he likes his space a lot so he can think about things. We made a compromise the other week that he would only leave it one day if we had an argument but he didnt follow through with it cos recently we had a small argument and again he didnt contact me for a few days, i eventually got through to him and he said its because hes "unsure" about things, and im thinking well shouldnt it be the other way round with me feeling like that? hes probably had enough of all the arguments and stuff too but seriously, if he was more considerate and just took responsibilty more for his actions half of our problems would not be here.....

(LONG BUT COPE WITH ME) My grandma had been sick 4 sometime. Dr finally found out wat was wrong & had back surgery. My oldest aunt is the one who always took my grandma to the dr appointments. since I am currently unemployed (by choice). I have decided to go along with them to dr appointments. I was once a translator for drs & patients for after hr services. my aunt thought it would be a good idea if i started to come to all the appt. i didnt mind i like helping my grandma & anyone who needs translating. by the time of my gmas surgery they needed someone who spoke english&knew my gmas med hitory. all my aunts & uncles & my grandpa dont speak english. and my grandma is 82 & illiterate. so i said i can go in with her. i was with her for about 3 hrs translating, signing papers and explaining things to my gma. was with her in preop room.saw her go in the operating room. surgeon called me on cell to let me know how everything went when surgery was over etc. ive been following up with the drs. i am practically the only person who knows dr names and her rx info. there were some complications in my gmas surgery & in order to save her life they had to put in a IVC filter. i explained to my gma and she said its fine sweety sign...i did. everything was a success! I noticed my uncle the youngest of my gmas children started acting distant & stopped talking to me. today he came to my house being quiet and ok... then out of nowhere... he starts telling my aunt and my mom that they should have someone responsible making decisions for their mother! my mom got mad since im her daughter & was like no one is making decisions for mom she is. he said no! one of you guys should be taking care of her.... not someone who is going to change their mind and not be responsible. i said your talking about me and i dont make decisions for my grandma i explain things to her she decides 4 herself... he was like no you make decisions for her. tell her what she needs and what she has to do. it got heated up he started calling names & pointing fingers.i honestly only tell my grandma what the doctors tell her to do... which is to walk & not be laying down all the time because she needs the exercise.i tell her to eat because she doesn't really eat. i tell her to wear her back brace. etc. my gma doesnt want to she says shes too weak still ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH... she refuses to do any exercises complains about pains & doesnt want to leave the house without her wheelchair. BUT she tells my uncles & doctors she feels no pain at all that shes fine now & exercises & lies pretty much. i tell her doctors what she tells me.dr said its common her old age scared of getting sent back to hospital but they have ordered transportation for her so she doesnt get up from wheel chair when going to dr appts & i dont drive so its easier for me to go w/her & not depend on anyone giving us a ride. he volunteered (my uncle)to help her & encourage her to walk by coming over every day. something he hasnt done i told him he can but that the physical therapist was going to start coming soon bcus thats something the surgeon ordered in home physical therapy. Hi you guys :) I'm doing a chemistry project and one of the things I have to do is show a brief illustration that shows a violation of a chemical principal. Will I ever be able to wear a bikini?

I'm 18 and I have been over weight for a big portion of my life...I weight 240 pounds and I am going under to get bariatric lap band surgery. If I get down to around 155-170 depending on where I feel most comfterable I would like to wear a bikini for the first time in my life...I have quite a few streach marks but they aren't super visable in fact with some coco butter I will be able to lighten them more plus the weight loss will shrink them...but I'm so worried about excess skin stopping this from happening. Tattoo goo and other aftercare products. Help?

Hey guys, I just got my 6th tattoo on Friday. I have had 4 different artists for my tattoos and each one told me something different for aftercare information. I have tried A&D, coco butter, and tattoo goo. I bot a bottle of tattoo goo after my last tattoo (3 days ago). This is the first tattoo that my new artist has gave me, and he told me to only put a thin layer of tattoo goo on about 2 to 3 times a day. I have noticed that tattoo goo rapidly speeds up the healing process but I have also noticed since it is not as thick as A&D, coco butter, or vaseline, my tattoo tends to dry out a lot quicker. My artist told me that it is not good to keep the tattoo smothered so it will be able to breathe. I know I should trust him but I just wanted some other opinions. I also read that it's good to use tattoo goo for about 3 or 4 days, then switch to unscented lotion, any thoughts on that? Well anyway thank you for your time. Hopefully after my 7th tattoo I'll finally have a reliable aftercare procedure lol.

Nothing topical works just abrading scarred tissue( scrubbing top of the skin like an old layer of paint) This doesn't hurt because top layer of the skin is dead. I got a lot of stretch marks from body building and got rid of them by scrubbing skin with medical crystals. I scrubbed with them every time I took a shower for a month and they reduced to half size. Not they are not visible from far just upclose but will continue with scrubbing until they are completely gone.

Why is my memory going bad?

I use to have a nearly photographic memory. I could look at/ read something and remember it in minutes. For example I memorized Robert Frost's The Road Not Taken after two or three readings... You can try dermabrasion. But everything out there won't make them disappear completely. & usually once they're there, creams & lotions can't do anything for you but moisturize enough to keep more from coming up. Just learn to love your body the way it is. It's much easier & less expensive. Nobody is going to think you're hideous because of stretch marks. & even if they did, they must be an a$$hole to think you're ugly over something so trivial.

I have dark stretch marks...?

Hi, I've always had stretch marks, but they became visibly worse. I have very pale skin, and they are a pinkish purple color and are slightly more sunken in than raised. I looked up results of Bio Oil because I want to start getting rid of them so when I wear a bathing suit they don't show. However, bio oil only seems to help with the stretch marks that are a lighter color and are smaller in size. I'm not sure how well coco butter will work. I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 years now. We went through some tough times in the beginning with him flirting with other girls online. Well, it stopped for almost 2 yrs (as far as I know). I was so upset and he immediately apologized and said he would see me when I got off work because he wanted to stay with me over the weekend. Well, that day he was waiting for me at my place after I got off work. He seemed to be excited to see me and he said he would be right back later after his baseball game with his buddies. He came back and was in a good mood and I was feeling like it was promising. Here's where things went down. He went outside to smoke and his phone went off (it was sitting on my table). He received a text message from a number that said "hi". So, I asked him about it when he came back in and he said he had no clue who that was from. I just had a bad feeling in my stomach...and also have a great photographic memory and went to the bathroom to text the number. Long story short the text was from a girl he had been texting for a week. She happens to be a family friend living out of town. She said he texted her nasty stuff, wanted her to talk dirty, asked her what she was wearing and the worst part for me she forwarded a text where he said "good morning my sweet n beautiful" at 6 am...same morning I called him about my tire. I'm devastated now. He admitted to doing it and of course said "I don't want that stupid little b****" and "I only did that because we were having problems" and "I'm a dumbass and made a mistake" and "I'm sorry", etc.....I don't know what to do. It's so hard for me now because I love him and thought we were going to be together. I just wanted neutral opinions on if I should give him yet another chance.

I live in Michigan and I'm 14. I've tried weed about 3 times before but I have never really gotten high off of it until this one school morning. I formed a Organization and solicited the help of Alley Cat Allies to try to help us save our cats. I was feeding a colony of 10 that is now down to 2 and I fear for their lives every day. It sounds to me like Otis is warming up to you slowly which is all you can expect from him. It is hard for us to imagine what they go through on the streets. Do you know how many people hate cats? I am finding out real fast by working with our problem. They do all kinds of things to harm them and I'm sure poor little Otis went through some of those things at the hand of a human being. It's going to take time. I have had strays that took as much as a year to warm up but you just have to let them go. That should attest to the fact that cats have feelings and make you love him all the more. As far as your new kitty goes I think you should put her with Otis. Please don't punish him because he is frightened by her. They may spat for a while but believe me when I tell you this - they WILL eventually love each other and you will see them cuddling up and sleeping or washing each other. You must take Otis out of isolation immediately because you are only making matters worse. Don't fear for Vera. She has claws and when she needs to she will use them. As far as training Otis. Have you tried the squirt bottle filled with water? That works with 99.9% of all cats for training them what not to do or where not to go. I use the Palmer's coco butter as well, I love it! I have used the lip balm I liked the smell and it makes your lips look nice and moisturized to, after a few days use I found my lips weren't as chapped! Hey,i know yahoo answers isnt the best place to be discussing my personal problems but i really need some advice, i have strecth marks on my boobs really badly, and im a size 30 double dd, and im really slim with these great big boobs, that i bet people would love to have, but not when thier got massive strecth marks on, i have to buy tops that cover, them, and people asume i shove things down there because you never get to see them, and they just look too big but that really isnt the case, its the fact im so self concious, and embarrassed. Like i went swimming trying not to think they were there with a bikini on, it was sucha night mare trying to find something that covered my boobs, but nothing i could find, like even a swimming costume that fit round my waste and my boobs, and these bunch of lads were like err what the hell is on her boobs, and start calling me skanks. and than all these girls were laughing, i suppose boys dont really know the effect it has on us girls sometimes, like these strecth marks wernt caused because im skank (which im defiently not) its just something that strecths and people dont relise that, and my back hurts so bad, aswell with carrying these boobs and, strecth marks are there forever, they may fade, i use bio oil and coco butter, for nearlly 2 years now thier still bright and not faded atall. I just cant bare this feeling anymore, and i cant find a decent lad that will love me for who i am, not what my boobs and that look like! i hate my boobs, they effect my life so much! it really hurts my feelings, because people say dont worry about it, its not like everyones looking at them in the pool, but yet thier so big thier really not hard to miss! and i want to enjoy my life, swimming like i did when i was a child, and wear strap tops instead of a jumper all the time. What can i do? someone please leave me a little advice...

Once youre 18 it doesn't matter. Do what YOU want to do. I didnt join the Marines because my parents, friends, girlfriend wanted or didnt want me to. I did it because I wanted to. If you wanna come in and try to be an officer youre gonna have to get college first. If you have some college you can probably come in a contract PFC and skip private. Or you can join right away and work your way up through the enlisted ranks. No way is a bad way. Just do what you want to do.

I think composition is the main thing you should work on. Think about rule of thirds, positioning the subject a third the way into the frame (either horizontally or vertically) instead of dead center. I agree with someone above me who said to get down at eye level with the kids. What's my photographic style?

Well if i'm honest i dont know much about professional photography but from a outsider i think these pictures are brilliant, the only thing i'd say is perhaps slightly to much editing on a few of them. The best look a picture can have is as if its just be taken and the world is as magical as that picture shows it to be without editing (however we all know that's not true but we could at least pretend by making the editing less obvious) apart from that there great!

I started to have chest pains last night and I was afraid to go to sleep.I put my arm above my head so my heart could stop beating so fast(seems like fast i never check how fast my heart is beating)I finally fell asleep and so happy woke up this morning to a new day :).Thankyou Jesus.Heres some things about me:Im 13.a little over 5 feet,I ate meatload,mash potatoes,corn,apple pie,bread from a cheeseburger,gum,pepsi.chocolate chip cookies(on a few) and cereal(chocolate coco pebbles and the rainbow kind)3 servings.Thats what i ate yesterday.Could it be the foods?It started to hurt when i had my computer on the bed and me outside the bed with the side of the bed pressed into my chest where my heart is.It hurt for 1-2 minutes.Could that be why it hurts?I only had two symptoms of heart attack numbness and chest pain.I started to sit up this morning and it hurt.so what can i do?I dont even know what i can eat.what can i eat.GOD BLESS!PRAY FOR ME.ALSO I KEEP BURPING

Looking for connections with eyes, skin and arthristis?

As of May 2009 I stopped all over the counter medication and elminated most processed dead foods from my cabinet after seeing a naturopathci doctor. All supplements are natures sunshine. Dramatic improvements began in not having consistent flu like symptoms (5mths) and sinus problems. Switched to more raw foods. In Nov 2009 my eyes had some dryness that made makeup hard to put on. The path to more natural products and foods and supplements continued into 2010. Was able to run for the first time in 6 winters, but March my eyes had an onslaught of problems. Allergic conjunctitus possibly. Left for SC for 5 weeks, symptoms disappeared. Reappeared when I returned to the northern region of Indiana (lake michigan). Started acupuncture and greatly improved. Left mid-august for 3 mths St Louis, allergic conjunctivitus was gone but cyst/acne type developed on the lower back and once a week a cyst on the arms would develop, disappear and scar. Doctors tested for staph and it was negative. November I returned to north indiana and allergic conjunctivitus returned. A chinese doctor said he thought I had lyme disease. I discounted it. Over the winter eye problems mostly disappered but reappeared in March. This time worse and I broke down and went to an eye doctor and got ointment and eye drops to help (later finding the ing are very toxic). Early February I had also noticed suddenly having shoulder problems after sleeping. This was replaced one morning in April, I woke up not being able to use my hands wrist without pain (arthritic type?). As the month has progressed the pain rotates around my body - hips for 2 days between the hours of 11am-5pm. Knee pain while I'm sleeping and disappearing after awaking. hands wrist forearms crippling pain that makes driving difficult. I've never experienced something like this and am at a loss. I've noticed the arthritic pain disappears after a good bowel movement. Also when it rained all last week no eye problems, but tons of arthritic pain. Another guy that has a photographic memory suggested it points to lymes disease???

My puppy has horrible diareaha help !?

My 3 month old puppy has terrible diareaha she hasnt taken a normal poop in probably 2 weeks I can't handle it anymore at night I put her and my male both in my back Room with the fence up when I wake up in the morning it looks like somebody just dumped pudding everywhere or coco wheats some mornings the puddles are the size of a small pillows . If I take her for a ride in the car she jumps in the back and let's it go again ! It's never solid or normal it's green and just diareaha .
